Todd has written and recorded a few choral pieces. His most popular one is Childhood, written for I Cantanti and recorded by them in 1991 under the direction of Wayne Kivell, this five movement choral suite with texts by the likes of John Keats and William Shakespeare is in the tradition of the English madrigal.

The Elements is a life-long composition of Todd's. He is constantly adding to it. The current version has four movements; Secret of Phosphorus, Gas, Hezekiah and Fiona, and Uranium 238. This piece is part of a performance art/science lecture-demonstration, entitled, The Elements.
